Combe Down win last game of season against Walcot
Combe Down beat Walcot 16-0 to take the Gilbert - Thomas Cup on the last day of the season
Combe started well with a penalty by Ollie Lakey after 7 minutes closely followed by a fine try by Jamie Ridewoood who snatched the ball following a horific bounce
After several good phases of play Combe were attacking the try line when Gareth Bowen saw his chance and dived over for the second try to make it 13-0 at half time
The only other score came in middle of the second half when Paul Edson kicked a penalty to see Combe finish winners at sixteen points to nil
There was a very good natured scene in the clubhouse afterwards during which Walcot's Chalkie Wardle handed over the Gilbert - Thomas Cup to club captain Steve Pearce
