Anyone and everyone playing, coaching, watching rugby can help to ensure that the game remains as safe as possible by taking the RFU's Concussion Awareness course.
Here's how to do it.
- Go to England Rugby 'Headcase' page
- Scroll down to '2. HEADCASE E-LEARNING'
- Click on 'VISIT MODULE VIA GMS'
Here, you should be able to click on 'eLearning: Headcase Concussion Awareness Training
- Click on 'MORE'
- Click on 'Book' at top right
- Click on 'Buy' (it will be £0.00)
- Go to your Basket and Checkout
You should then receive an email from the England Rugby Training Administration Centre, saying: 'England Rugby Course Application Confirmed', with a link to 'access the course'. Click this, complete the course.
The course should take around 30-40 minutes. You will have a test at the end of it with 10 questions, and you must answer all 10 questions correctly to pass. If you fail, you can immediately re-take the test.
Once you pass, you should get a message saying that your qualification will be uploaded to GMS within 10-14 days.
